Over a decade ago, the “Journal of American Studies” (I think) had a piece on 1960 Cook County vote fraud. It said that its purpose was to elect the machine’s candidate for States Attorney and that any fake votes for JFK were an unintended slopover, and were not enough to make the difference in the Illinois Presidential outcome.
As to ACORN, three of them just entered guilty pleas in Seattle for vote fraud and received slaps on the wrist.
