“Republicans can’t sell themselves to the youth, because they don’t want people who advocate personal responsibility. Young people are also not fond of thinking.” Exactly. Using gonads for brains doesn’t present many opportunities for responsible behavior. Ipods and Blackberries aren’t any better. This would be the perfect time to introduce the “When I was your age” meme, but even I don’t read those any more. The only thing that might have an effect would be time, and it’s unknown how much of it we have left these days.
