This is not one of the better PJmedia articles. More of an apologetic for bad science.
Hurricane forecasting–like multi-decade climate models–are emphatically “not ready for prime time.” Accept it, and move on.
Treat every hurricane forecast and multi-decade climate model with the large block of salt it requires. The science just isn’t ready yet.
