American’s aren’t likely to turn against Obama that quick. Although if you’re anything like the woman in the video, a huge ‘letdown’ is pretty much inevitable.
Still, After reaching the highest of the high, he’ll probably come back down to earth after the honeymoon stage. I expect his approval rating to hover around 50-60% after his first two years or so.
I expect a two term Obama presidency. I don’t think Union and Latino support will wither away in the upcoming years (although who knows?). The GOP needs to learn from some or their mistakes and start making a comeback in congress. He might be president for 8 years, but as long as the conservative voice strengthens, I’ll be fine with it.
