I’ve been saying for several years that Pakistan is the chief enemy nation, with Saudi Arabia a close second. Why, when they are perceived as being allies who are cooperating in fighting terror? Because they pay lip service to it at best while elements within both countries are hell-bent on exporting and funding violent Jihad. Saudi Arabia funds Wahabbism all over the world. The Taliban is essentially a creation of Pakistan’s ISI. A huge number of the soulless fanatics who are responsible for massacres like Bombay and the 7/7 London bombings are connected with the tribal regions in Waziristan. Both swamps need to be drained. Sadly there is little prospect of Saudi Arabia facing the consequences of its actions until the oil runs out. In the case of Pakistan, rather more robust measures can be taken.
