During those dreadful final Clinton years while cowering-hoping we had come to the end of the bimbo-trail and the spotted blue dress…we ALL were happy to hear a voice of truth. Chris Matthews had some integrity and many of us (conservatives) appreciated his honesty. It seems the MSM were joyously willing to give up all credibility when it came to Obama. I for one sincerely hope his contribution to the next four years will be able to redeem him in the eyes of Americans who feel cheated by the media. We really have no idea who this man is and what he stands for-oh yes, change and hope. But change for whom and hope for whom? I used to watch Chris Matthews, but he is now no different than Rush Limbaugh. He has no independent credibility as a newsperson. So those who are liberals will tune in to hear Chris Matthews and Keith Olberman and Catie Couric, et al. Who is out there with an independent voice, just reporting the facts? No one. At least we used to be able to get some independent news from the BBC, but they are in the tank for Obama,too.
Please know that there are some Americans out there who can still read the facts and interpret the news all by themselves. Not ALL of us are brain dead.
