As always seems to be the case when Britain or Europe are mentioned on this site, a squadron of virulently anti-European people come along to spout half-baked and ill-informed opinions while at the same time criticising Europeans for being anti-american and ignorant of the USA.
Of course it doesn’t help when the article writer herself resorts to wildly exaggerated claims that she appears unable to back up when queried and paints a thoroughly distorted view of the situation here.
If PJM and other US right-wing media were my main source of ‘information’ about Britain and Europe then I probably would cry myself to sleep every night over my misfortune to live in such a blighted and doomed continent. Reality however is very different to the agenda-driven misrepresentations of the media, it’s not just the MSM that you need to be wary of guys, don’t believe everything you read from ‘alternative’ sources either.
Carol mentions that the British media has been incessantly talking about how Obama “is the first president to come from humble roots.” Now I can’t say that I have heard this mentioned once, either in print or on TV, but I googled it to see. That phrase turns up only links to articles by Carol Gould herself, lol.
