So is the tubby (sorry, incorrect word) child, once in the care of the state, forcibly put on a diet? The kid made to do exercises to get their weight down? If so, could this be classified as “Cruel and unusual punishments”?

I do hope the poor child, now the state is taking care of it, has someone he or she can turn to for advise and help. A lawyer appointed by the courts to defend their welfare? All paid for by the State of course.

And will the parents be discouraged from having any more kids as they are so bad at it? Enforced contraception or sterilization?
