The Old Timer has foreshadowed it correctly. Within a year we will see an attack on the US proper or an ally of a magnitude that we will wonder why it had not come sooner. Why? Because Al Qaeda will make a political decision to expend political assets, re: suicide bombers and plotters to make a statement to the world that Obama just gets them all excited and they can’t help themselves any longer.
There are many, many good people working in intel around the globe trying to stop numerous operations but unfortunately Al Qaeda will take more risks and decide to expend assets now (post Jan. 20) to change the dynamics.
And if I recall correctly, Obama will marshall all the weight and resources he can to aid the first responders. That was his “reply” in a debate to an attack.
Funny, reality has a way of crowding in and from the appearance of Obama after he was given an intel briefing, he just found religion. With his NSA announced of a military pedigree, he just found out what he’s gotten himself into. President Bush has not gone so gray and worn from political stress. He put himself on the line to defend the country. Historically, he will be remembered not only for his mistakes but also for his defense and mercilessly so on behalf of liberty.
Obama doesn’t inspire confidence. He does however inspire America’s enemies. Said in sadness as it will be the blood of innocents in the Western world who will pay.
