Hillary Clinton. Yikes!
Comment #179 sounds like it was takem from THEE (not “a”) Obama speech.
Research Obama’s upbringing, his mentors, colleagues, contributors of his Chicago politics and you would question our country’s future as well. Read books which both praise and are critical of his past, ideals and agendas (seeing as how the media never approached the subject). I had to! For Obama was an enigma when relying on newspapers, blogs and television for essential information/questions answered. That’s a sad state of things when many people’s information outlet are these sources.
I needn’t delve into McCain’s history for it was easy to obtain. Not ot tmention the media actually discussed it! Go figure..
Obama sponsored the Democratic Republic of Congo Relief Act a bill for aid in Congo and ~ half dozen Acts which have passed or still awaiting to be signed into law. That’s it. Oh yeah, he didn’t want to vote 130 + times on difficult bills too. Do you get credit for not making decisions in your job, too?
The argument of the ‘capitalist’ system doing us in.. read comment #117 The Whale, they hit the nail on the head. FYI, the Democratic led Congress since ’06 with Pelosi, Reid at the helm are leading the parade in finding ways to give the money to the auto industry. Coincidence? The President and majority of Republican Senators are saying ‘Nay’. Obama? He’s mum on the subject.
If you think the contrary is better to capitalism, attempt to live as you do now in Europe. Home, car, etc.,
The comments regarding McCain’s age are ridiculous. Joe Biden is 66, but 5 years younger. Not to mention Biden is so gaffe-tastic, Palin’s questionable comments pale in comparison.
When making a decision or voting for that matter, follow substance over banter. Relying on one’s emotions rather than knowledge in making decisions is counterproductive. Good intentions never outdo common sense. See: Jimmy Carter’s interference with Iran from the 70′s for prime example..
Lastly, I don’t want nor need a ‘stimulus’ check or tax break. I don’t want a hand out. Suffice to say, many people feel they do. Aside from those layed off, what a sad state to adapt.
