Great comments so far; I especially like the suggestion from a couple of you to ask yourself if the person you are considering marrying would support you if you were out of a job. It’s a good predictor for a man or woman contemplating whether or not a partner is the right choice. Loyalty and feeling that someone is on your side is very important in a marriage. I think it carries you through some pretty bad times.
