Jewish Americans still remember that it was Harry Truman who bravely recognized the infant state of Israel almost sixty years ago. One’s loyalty to a particular political party, however, should be premised upon the prudent question: What have you done for me recently? It is very fair to say that today’s Democratic Party is the enemy of the Jewish people. Jew bashing has virtually become the norm. Israel is considered to be greatly responsible for the rage of the Islamic nihilists. The Democratic Party “elites” which includes numerous self-hating Jews intend on sacrificing Israel to appease these fanatics. Joe Lieberman is a marginalized figure who ran as an independent in his last election. Jews (and other sensible people) really don’t have a choice in 2008. They must take their chances with the GOP.
