It has been my pleasure to know the Jewish Republicans in Franklin County, both of them, for years. They are also adult converts from the Democrat Party, and have lots of stories, mostly touching, about how they have been received by their family. My favorite quote, after making the announcement, was “At least you didn’t join the Baptist snake handlers down the road!”
