I’m definitely not Canadian, but Saskatchewan politics, for me, is every bit as important as Oregon* politics or any other state for that matter. Among other things, it helps me to deal with the ugly, unspoken something that Canadians lay on you when you drive through to Alaska. It’s also encouraging to read that somewhere, somehow, political things happen without reference to the machinations of the BusHitler/Cheney ‘cabal’, silly as that sounds. Now what we all really need is a voice, like Catherine McMillan’s, to give us insight into what the thinking is in Baja -, Sonora, Chihuahua and the other border states del sur.

*Now Oregonians are truly ‘alien’. There you’re not even allowed to pump your own gas. If the tongue in cheek aspect of this footnote is lost to you, there in your Pendleton shirt, sorry.
