It appears like a significant gain for our neighbors to the north in Saskatchewan to elect the SaskParty in the upcoming election.

For a province with so many resources – both natural and human – it’s hard to believe that its young people flee to greener pastures because of a leftist government and older folk with left-wing sympathies who still act as if The Great Depression is with us, and still needs interventionist government.

With a thriving Alberta next door, retaining the status quo seems like a very poor choice, when up-and-coming people can also vote with their feet.
