I think the article is on target with regards to the hatchet job on Sarah Palin by members of her own party. I think it is shameful to dismiss her as a “hillbilly” when she has accomplished much more than her critics. How many of her detractors have been elected govenor? She has great apeal with the right as she makes no apologies about being on the right. The only republicans that have been able to win elections or re-elections are those that run on the right wing party line. Every Rupublican that ran as a liberal conservative has been defeated. Love her or hate her, she stood her ground admirably and refused to waffle from her personal convictions. As a career military member, she earned my vote and my respect. I hope to see her again in 2012.
