I think the beginning will be great for Obama voters. He will turn the ship left and they will cheer. He will countermand drilling, wire tapping and shut down Guantanamo. He will open up dialog with the Iranians. He’ll raise taxes appoint liberal judges and get them vetted. Cheered on by the press it will be a thing of beauty.
The disappointment will come when America becomes a worse place because of it. And then we will have several years of blaming it on Bush. So Obama supporter disappointment will take quite a while to set in. A year or so at least unless a blunder so big is made even the press can’t hide it.
Don’t hold your breath waiting for the Obama folks to be disappointed. It won’t be quick. They have too much vested in this.
