I cannot answer for everyone who voted for Obama, just as you cannot answer for everyone who voted for McCain. I do think that the people who voted for Obama were not happy with the way things are in the US today and thought that McCain was too tied to the policies that got us here. Not many people dig down into policies; so many make more superficial judgments that may still reflect a genuine desire for change. We will cetainly have change with Obama, but it will be impossible to enact everyone wishes.
