Susie Roden, you are perhaps unaware of Shiite eschatology and the story of the 12th Imam. Perhaps you should look it up, as it is key to an understanding of our times. The Mahdi is virtually a Shiite Messiah who will be brought out of “hiding” during a period of great chaos.
