I’m proud that the new US president isn’t a pawn for Israel — a country every bit as corrupt and self-serving the Arab states surrounding it. Let Israel *earn* US support for a change. Once Obama’s alternate energy plans work and the US is weaned off Middle Eastern oil, Israel ceases to have any strategic value and becomes irrelevant anyway.
