Neo-Neocon is warning us against falling prey to
Obama derangement syndrome, and here are you guys diving into it head first. Sheesh! If you right-wingers are supposed to be so much more rational than the lefties, let’s see it. (Revenge may be sweet, I know [for Bush derangement syndrome], but two wrongs still don’t make a right.) By all means, be eternally vigilant, which Ben Franklin said is the price of liberty. Work with Obama when you can, criticize him when you can’t, filibuster when you feel you have to stop something especially pernicious. Fight with all your might for your ideas and do your best to persuade people rationally. But for Heaven’s sake, don’t go batshit insane on us! You’ll only give yourselves heart attacks, and you won’t help the country one bit.
