James Westlake – The material you presented is a worthy argument, and I shall consider it along with the opposing information I have seen. The man who filed the lawsuit, Philip Berg, is a Chicago-area Democrat. The information and research he put forth is far more extensive, and was included in his lawsuit.

The suit got tossed based on legal authority, not invalidity. It is coming before the SCOTUS. It is not spurious. He could be wrong, but the purpose of the suit is to get the missing information. It’s not just about his birth certificate. It is also about his citizenship. It took me hours to read all the stuff that Berg submitted in his case. I won’t get into everything about it, because it doesn’t really matter what I say. The Court will decide the issue.

Regarding McCain’s silence, you could be right, but the simpler explanation is that McCain still wants to be at the center of things. He’s always afraid of alienating the other side… to the point that he tends to more readily alienate his own side. He sure likes to play the role of useful idiot, sometimes.

Thanks, however, for being the first to actually put forth some substantial info in an opposing opinion on the subject.
