None of the public works pulled the US out of the depression. The US started supplying the Eurpoean allies with great amounts of materials in 1940 and the military started a giant rearmement program in 37 or 38. We didn’t enter the war until Dec 1941 but we were producing like crazy for several years before that.
FDR propped up the morale of many in the country but none of his programs were big enough to pull the country out of the Depression.
And this is no revisionism, it is all there if you really look.
