RE: Linkage vs. Compelling

I’ve looked at your links and they aren’t exactly compelling. — Al

I didn’t expect them to be ‘compelling’. Rather, I expected them to be accepted as evidence that thinks are not quite what you might think.

So. I suppose I was moderately successful in that effort. And I appreciate your appreciation of them, accordingly.

RE: Equivocation

The first link pretty much contradicts your assertion about millions of foreign dollars and only points out the credit card processing procedures for donations under $200. It takes a whole boatload of them to equal “millions”. — Al

You can’t prove they didn’t come from foreign investors anymore than I can prove they did. But the general fact is that using these credit cards, they could very well have come from foreign investors working through agents in this country.

It is a ‘reasonable’ supposition. Not proof in a court of law, but then again—because there is no system to provide appropriate evidence. But nevertheless quite possible. And in the gray area, crime thrives.
