International polls, have time and time again shown how popular Putin is with the Russians. In round figures one cn say that Putin is supported by 70% of the population, the Communists by 20% and the ultra-right or hard nationalists by 10%. Even the great Solzenytshin has given Putin his approval. There are of course individuals who seem to attract “Western” journalists ie Americans but are laughably weakly-supported by Russians.
The question arises as to why this writer hates Russians so much. She even has a blog called Russophobe. Is she funded by Berezovski, perhaps Russia’s most hated oligarch? In the nineties a dozen persons became billionaires overnight, through stealing Russia’s resources, and in the process destroyed half of Russia’s GNP and reduced the average Russian life-span by six years . They illegally organised and funded Yeltsin’s fraudulent re-election. As a result anti-Semitism is bang in fashion since these oligarchs were all Jews.
The vitriolic attacks in the article are spiteful and as manifestly untrue as “the American landing on the moon was a sham”.
Ultimately they help to rekindle anti-Semitism and anti-Americanism. Russians are fellow Europeans and beautiful ones at that. Russia’s oil and gas now belongs to them and will stay that way.
