Great article! I’m always facinated by Iranian politics – it is like a three level chess game. Unfortunately, the West appears to be playing Tic-Tac-Toe. My question is what is the reaction/effect in Tehran to the recent Israeli surgical strike in Syria? Knowing that your air defense system can be breached without you knowing it must be unsettling.
