Colin Powell’s 11th hour endorsement of Barack Obama should be seen as an embarrassment. Powell, never of very interesting or accomplished mental credentials, must be one of those Washington insiders that doesn’t wan’t to be left out of the DC social circuit under the new President.
There are far more interesting individuals of coloUr, such as Thomas Sowell, historian Shelby Steele and Supreme Court justice Clarence Thomas (the first name that sprang to Obama’s mind when Rick Warren asked him which SC Justice he would not have supported) who undoubtedly see much better through Obama’s thin skin than you or the individuals you name.
