Obama cares enough about the poor to spread other people’s money to them, but when it comes to freely giving their own money to charity, both he and Biden’s tax returns prove how little they truly care. I could have believed their rhetoric more if they had ever put their OWN money where their mouths are, but they did not.
What they are really looking for is the power that comes with controlling the purse strings in this country. Obama’s arrogance in thinking that he has the right to decide how much of their own money a hard-working person is allowed to keep, and who receives the money he confiscates is nothing short of astounding. I realize we already have a progressive tax system, it’s his idealogy of sharing the wealth purely for the sake of what he considers “fairness” that I find infuriating.
