….reminds me of the cult-o-personality followers described in Jerry Pournelle’s Spartan series, as written in the early 1990s.
The mindless rhetoric, without any proof to back it up, is almost as if they took the verbiage from the discussions Spartan University Student Union.
And Mr. Pournelle based such discussion on classic Maoist-Communism rhetoric.

P.S. But maybe I’m mistaken. Maybe Majoriot, what a nom des blogs….very apropos….can explain to US how we’re an ‘empire’? If we are, we’re one unlike any the world has ever seen. After all, we gave back Japan, Italy and Germany to the people we ‘conquered’. And shorter time than Britain gave back India to the indigenous population.
Why is that?
