Let’s Take Some Pride in Obama’s Election — No Matter Who We Voted For
That is a moronic notion. Why I should be proud of the fact that corruption was allowed to win the day? Why should I care about the color of a man’s skin? Isn’t that the opposite of what you are suggesting?
The fact is this: it is no longer a democracy when your votes are totally negated by massive, massive voter fraud, with the complete complicity of the election officials, the courts, the media, and all the same culprits who would rig an election in any third world dictatorship.
I’m not proud of that; I am ashamed of people who allow themselves to be blinded by this very notion of “pride” in being able to vote for a black man. So what? Are you still so backward that you had to prove it to yourself? Well, congratulations. We did the same thing here in New York City a while back. It was such a disaster that maybe it set the cause you claim to love back several decades.
Why not elect a black person or a woman or a one-legged Martian who is qualified to be President, who doesn’t hate the very country he wants to be leader of, who isn’t very cozy with our enemies, and who wants to set up a domestic army for unspoken nefarious purposes.
If you were so able to look beyond the color of somebody’s skin, you would already realize what a terrible thing has occurred. But you will learn the hard way in very short order.
When you claim “We didn’t know,” I will have very little sympathy.
