I wonder how long until we get a designated internal enemy. When everyone agrees that disappointment is inevitable, and we know that the One hates to be responsible or blamed for anything, the standard messiah schtick is always to designate the enemy that prevents him and the people he leads from achieving due greatness. Hitler with Jews, Stalin with capitalists and saboteurs, smaller messiahs, they all had the enemy, fought bravely for their people and kept adoration intact while the whole country deteriorated.
So, how long until that?
Note that the enemy has to be internal.
And GOP makes such a lovely target. Or would it be greedy capitalist pigs? Disbelievers in the Messiah? So many possibilities…
