Let’s Take Some Pride in Obama’s Election — No Matter Who We Voted For
I was disappointed when George Bush was declared the winner in 2000, but I gave him that benefit of the doubt in hopes that he would do the things he claimed he would do as President. It wasn’t until 3 or 4 years later, AFTER I actually saw the results of his policies and decisions and their impact on our country coming to bear, that I felt the kind of bitterness I see in these comments towards Barack Obama. Unfortunate, but of course it is only day 1 and I have hopes for the future.
Chuck: At the very worst, Obama could only ever possibly be considered the second-worst President ever. George Bush has set the bar for worst too deep for anyone else to ever dig to.
