Justice Thomas does what all justices should… he rules on the law AS IT IS WRITTEN, not on what he wishes it is or what they do in Europe, etc. It is not his duty, indeed it is a violation of duty not to rule on the law the way that it was established by legislative process. He correctly identifies Roe v Wade was wrongly decided because #1 abortion is not addressed by the Constitution and therefore #2 is a State’s issue and is rightfully and legally addressed by the States. Should an individual state then consent to abortion… or choose to prohibit, so be it! THE CONSTITUTION CAN AND HAS BEEN CHANGED OVER THE YEARS BY AMENDMENT… never forget this is the way it should be done. Justice Thomas believes this and rules accordingly, not based on his personal preferences or in spite of them!
