Probably because this article is about the writer’s dinner with Justice Thomas, and is not a book review.
Did you notice the title: “My Dinner with Clarence Thomas”?
I have read that title several times now, and I simply cannot make out where it says, “My Review of Justice Thomas’s Book.”
