Just the fact that extraordinary rendition, detention without trial and waterboarding are is deemed legal by the Bush administration makes the case that said administration is much farther along the road to a Nazi-like police state than any Democrat ever tried to achieve. And it doesn’t matter if it happened to an American Citizen or not, it’s still happened to human beings, many of them successfully proved innocent, and many of them whom, thanks to the methods employed, can never be proven guilty.
