If anyone had said publicly five years ago that a Black man named Barack Hussein Obama would be poised to become president, they would have been laughed out of the room.
By overcoming monumental obstacles to reach the highest office, Obama has shown leadership and heart, and forced those who derided him as a mere “community orgainzer” to confront what a truly organized community looks like. It looks like victory.
Because of the overwhelming worldwide desire for return to competent leadership in the US, Obama is the only person who can turn this corrupt, sinking ship of state around, and regain for us a position of respect in the international community.
Tomorrow the American people will demand that the Democratic Party take the reins, and anyone who says that will not be a mandate is a fool of the sort who probably voted for W twice. I look forward to a Constitutional scholar in the White House to begin righting the abuses of that noble document perpetrated over the last eight years.
I am a United States Army veteran and I approve this message while at the same time despising the cowardice and dishonesty of those listed at the top of the page who demanded a war in Iraq, but have never sacrificed a single day of their lives in the service of their country.
