No one is voting for Obama out of a sense of “white guilt.” We’re voting for Obama because conservatism destroyed America, because McCain and Palin are scary jingoist nutbags, and because Obama is the only candidate who’s demonstrated any sort of mature thinking in terms of foreign policy, domestic affairs, the economy and the role of government.
