We are a socialistic capitalist democracy. That’s way different than OPPRESSIVE SOCIALISM.
The reason MSM has been so negative about McCain is because he has fabricated viscous distortions and out and out lies about Obama and Obama’s policies. He’s a progressive centrist. It’s easy to see that if you read up. Yet, we don’t really know the REAL Barack Hussein Obama. Is he a socialist muslim terrorist sympathizing smooth talking sheister?
I don’t see anything like this coming from the left, therefore, I question the patriotism of John McCain. I question his motives for wanting to be president. He has done nothing in his campaign but unscrupulously attack Obama’s character and image. He has not made his case as to why he wants to lead this country other than that he was tapped by the Republican political machine. I believe he is a self-proclaimed maverick because he knows it’s political favorable, and that when “tapped” he got lockstep with the current administration. That’s what McCain appropriately called “the reverse maverick” on SNL. A patriot has a sense of purpose that drives a vision of their service to their country. John McCain has appealed to the most base and appalling elements of humanity to try and defeat a political rival. This undermines any purposeful vision of a democracy.
Barack Obama has earned every vote that he gets on November 4th without using tactics of animosity.
