Very agree. How I wish John Bolton had decided to run for Prez – we need him to clean out Foggy Bottom.
The problem is worse than you state, though. Not only do Dems seek bureaucratic positions more than GOPers (and WAY more than conservatives), but the jobs themselves turn people Dem. It’s like Dennis Prager saying that belonging to a union tends to make one a worse person – you vote NOT for the good of America, but for more of your own perks, salary, and job security.
We need to eliminate the positions, not just change the personnel.
