Could Indiana Become a Blue State?

Mr. Kaufman’s observations are on target. Being from another Midwestern state (Iowa, for those of you playing along at home), it’s a mix of political contradictions. One election, the state will go for a Democrat. The next, it will go for a Republican. Yet, Iowa and Indiana represent a microcosm of the political landscape for the nation. In urban areas, Democrats tend to win, but outside of the cities, you’ll get more and more people pulling levers for Republicans. I wouldn’t be worried about Indiana going for Hillary just yet. Iowa…not so much.
