I note that no one is talking about piezoelectric cells, which produce DC thru mechanical distortion. By incorporating piezoelectric cells in the supporting legs of photovoltaic panels, the wind resistance of the photovoltaic panels could be turned into a major asset. In particular, this would allow the photovoltaic panels to produce DC even when the sun was not shining.

This is the kind of “outside the box”strategy I’m trying to get across, and it can beput into production vastly faster than nuclear. Got it?
