Juan Cole is one of the most intellectually dishonest characters out there. This is the same guy who basically acted like 100 million Farsi speakers around the world were hallucinating when they clearly heard Ahmadinejad and the rest of the Mullacracy say that Israel must be wiped off the planet! All of a sudden in true cultural imperialist form, he knew better and stomped all over the internet against anyone who confronted him with his pro-Mullah spin. He should be marginalized and ignored.
