I’ve not paid to see a movie in a theater for about a decade; I last rented one perhaps two years ago. I live abroad, so I’m mercifully spared much US TV. However, the other day a rerun of “Alf” was being aired. Alf calls the President (then Reagan) and tells him (and the Russians, whom he doesn’t call) to destroy all the missiles. When the Air Force 1 staff put Reagan on the phone, they have to guide him through the whole process of finding the phone, which button to push, from which side. The leftwing bias and ignorance has been around for a long time. Of course, Reagan outsmarted essentially all the bright lights of Hollywood and academia, which is why they still hate him.
I hate crime, but when it comes to political propagandizing artists, actors, and other dealers of the incontinent untruths, I do thank the internet for making their output free for those who want it.
