I just went upthread to grab a few jewels by “January:”

#166: “…all you racist, sexist, war mongering right wing nuts…”

#180: “…the filth and lies that spew from the neocons, Palin included…”

No judgment there. Perfectly moderate. So reasonable.

“I always try to be reasonable and moderate and certainly do not try to judge others.” So claims January at #264.

January, I am hardly perfect. I am growing weary. And I know the tone of my writing too often leaves much to be desired.

I love my country. I love its founding and the principles upon which it was built. I don’t want it to be changed. Our founding was genius. Obama is not. You and he support a failed system – it’s been proven every time it’s been tried.

Your screaming “MARXISM” in one of the above posts is telling.

The Bible also says — even in Jesus’ own words — that we will judge. I have seen my own sin. Yes. I know when I do not love. And though I speak harshly about another man, at the end of the day my heart breaks for him. I learned how he was raised — and it happens to have been but a few blocks from where I type this message. He attended the same school as my own children.

But he is wrong about so many things. He has been damaged in his life – beginning in childhood. He is not a healthy man. If he were my child I would be telling him he cannot do what he has done. I would do what I could to get him in a psychiatrist’s chair instead. Though it’s highly unlikely he’ll ever be healed that way.

But I do pray that he will one day heal. God is able. I just wish he had attended a Christian Church that offers the salvation message. You see, he’s been hanging onto the anger from his childhood. Most of us do. We cannot let it go and so we die daily.

And sadly, this is what Wright teaches at TUCC. He teaches other innocents to hang onto their hate and anger at those they feel have done them wrong. But this is death for the soul. Peace between men is reached when one forgives the other — no matter the debt. Only Christ can give us hearts to do this. I learned that after my own lifetime struggle.

When God in His mercy allows us to see the sin in our own hearts, then we’re able to see the sin in others. And as we see their sin, we separate it from the man. We know he’s blind. If he weren’t, he wouldn’t be doing the sin.

So Barack Obama is blind. And he has no business leading this nation.
