I’m adopted. This has a bit of a bearing on my opinion on abortion.
I remember those repulsive T-shirts that Ms. magazine – or whoever it was – put out, the ones that said “I HAD AN ABORTION.” For a few weeks I leaned strongly toward the idea of making myself a T-shirt that said “I ALMOST _WAS_ AN ABORTION, YOU HEARTLESS B____ES.”
