Thanks for reading my article at least to those of you who normally read what is published on this rational and excellent website. Here, on the comments page, is some good evidence that the biggest reason you should reject Obama is the totalitarian nature of the candidate and his supporters. Last month I outlined the obscene nature of their approach to diversity:

“The Obama campaign is aware of this eventuality and has created a site called “Fight the Smears.” It sends out emails via a “live action wire,” a tocsin alerting the faithful that someone somewhere has besmirched the name of The One. Like Sauron in The Lord of the Rings, their wrath is terrible and their retribution swift. Soon after their leader is challenged or merely inconvenienced, all contentions which contradict him are systematically recast as “smears” or personal assaults.”
That’s what they’ve done here. These folks are what they call on talk radio “program callers.” This article got smeared en masse from one of their websites. The approach seems to be “throw a million things out there and something will stick.” This is exactly what these posters have done. Let’s boil it down to basics:
1.Obama never had a centrist thought in his life before this summer. He is no moderate. Nothing in his history suggests that he would be.
2.He’s a leftist’s leftist. He was the most leftward voting Senator for 2007 according to National Journal. Leftist-statism has never been known to cure any economic crisis…ever.
3.He is undeniably a statist and for the last month has sounded like a full blown socialist. Is there anything that Obama doesn’t think the public sector can do better than the private sector? What programs does he wish to cut? Why does he confuse government with charity? Why does he confuse giving to the government with giving to the people?
4.We are now on the brink of socialism. The government spends 36.6 percent of what we make. What do the leftists posting here think would be a better number? 80 percent? What’s the endpoint? For what reason, shouldn’t the government take everything we make? What in your worldview would prevent them from doing so? I cannot think of anything.
5. I mentioned the leftist totalitarian approach to dealing with opposition by referencing A Manifesto for Media Freedom, and then these Obamabots went ahead and proved the accuracy of my statements via their ensuing actions. If someone anywhere badmouths Barack they then attack as they have here. What’s wrong with simply tolerating diversity? We disagree with you. What’s wrong with that?
6. Note the constant references to race here. Who the heck cares about race? Answer: the racist political left. They call me and others here “white guys” but what does that have to do with anything? Be he magenta, green or powder blue you should never vote for a leftist as they despise our nation and will implode our economy. You have a race? Congratulations, so does everybody else. Who the heck cares about race? Only the left. They live and breathe it.
7.The drones here are all about emotion. They don’t realize that conservatives are not. If you post 5,000 pounds of hysteria you won’t alter our views. It’s a waste of time. We don’t respond to that stuff. Someone who makes the state bigger and has never heard of economic growth (whereby “the pie” is not static) is no one you should vote for. Vote for anybody but Barack.
8.What is the real strategy with all this astroturfing? It’s an appeal to conformity. They think that someone will see 300 negative comments and say, “I’m with them!” But most of the people who go to high intellect websites like Pajamas are far above that sort of pathetic maneuver. Why don’t you folks just learn how to mind your own business?
