I wasn’t going to post again because I had said my piece and I didn’t like where these trails were heading, but one post was really below the belt. To even suggest that anyone who does not think the way they do about Obama is a racist is, in itself, profoundly racist. Most of post #118 was opinionated froth, absolutely none of which is supported in fact. If it were, we would have heard much more of it in the Obama-favored media. In fairness, there IS one exception I must point out: the part about getting involved and writing to your Congressman.

Look, we’re all Americans here and lucky to be allowed the luxury of this very thread without fear of death. Let us all PLEASE vote with our brains, not our baseless opinions, hatred, maliciousness, or whatever else is driving many of these posts. Let us also admit that we are sometimes close-minded to the opposition and conveniently filter out the virtues of the other side so we can overcome this shortfall and really see the issues of fact as they are. THEN we can know that we honestly did our very best to elect whom we believed to be the most able candidate. We owe it to ourselves and those we care for to do so.
