The bigger question that still remains is what is Israel going to do about the Iran Nuke issue. You know that they absolutely can not allow the Iranians to build the bomb because it would be detonated in Tel Aviv or some other city by Iran or one of its proxies. Iran has zero to lose by doing this because it will be backed by almost 2 billion muslims for successfully attacking Israel. Europe will do nothing because it can not afford to go without oil and gas. Russia and China will definitely not side with Israel, so what does that leave, the US. The US under Obama will do nothing because we will be afraid of making all those muslims mad, but regardless we are next on the list, so it really doesn’t matter.

There is no winner in this fight because Israel has to do what it feels is in their best interests and I can assure you that isn’t a nuclear capable Iran. The only issue is whether we have the guts to stand with Israel or not. That answer is probably not especially if things go nuclear. Iran has clearly stated its intentions and has no reason not to carry through with those intentions. They only need the materials before this plan can go into action. Between now and February, it will be a guessing game of who will attack first and with what type of weapons. I believe Israel will attack first with conventional weapons and the surprise of all surprises will be that Iran already has a nuke and uses it in Tel Aviv. Then things go really bad from there. If Israel is successful in the conventional attack then they will have to withstand the proxy onslaught, which isn’t going to be pretty.

There will be calls for peace and as a condition the nuclear disarmament of Israel. This is never going to happen, so there will be a coalition of arms to force this through overwhelming conventional forces. This to will end badly because Israel will fight back for its very existance. You can worry about who supports who in this presidential election, but I really doubt either candidate is willing to attack Iran or protect Israel if it comes down to it.
