I’m not sure why this whole ‘well paid’ bit has had traction for as long as it has. The dollar figure may seem high, but beyond that and maybe DBA (which is not a bene anyone wants to be in a position to collect), ICs really aren’t all that well compensated. That’s the key when looking at this sort of thing, ‘compensation’ not just ‘pay’. As far as what happened Sunday…it may sound cold, but near as I can tell they did their job, the principal(s) survived.
