It’s a sad commentary on the personnel running the State Dpt and Defense Dpt that the two dpts can’t get along so that private contractors are hired at outrageous fees to do what the Defense Dpt should be doing. What a lame government we have. Leaders with no backbone who are more concerned with helping their buddies with lucractive contracts rather than the national interest. Where’s the “greatest generation” when we need it? We have replaced self-sacrifice with greed and self-interest.
